    @Dave_in_AZ I’ve been watching the Smithsonian channel.

    You drove a mixer before, right? I’m currently hearing about a building in Miami with foundations that go 200 feet deep and needing a 10000 yard concrete pour. :eek:

    This corn planting is risky if too early. My former business partner told me that one year in his youth they had corn "shoe (brogans) top high "in April and it snowed... Mama always said: "Wait till after Easter." They may plant early, they may get a stand, but; My garden will "make" the same time as theirs....
    Mama kept us fed on that logic....

    Won't work... 200 feet deep, in Miami??? They gonna pour and it clump and drop on out the bottom of Miami. Probably cause a big blister in China...

    Round these parts the saying is... "If you can see snow on Mt. Putnam, it too early to plant corn or beans." Its never failed me yet.
