Get about 9 cats. The more wild the better. Don’t feed them. Your rat problem will soon not be a problem.
Also a chihuahua would be a suitable addition to the mix, you’d have to feed that one.

So an evening of drinking and grilling has been completed. A food coma is now in effect.
Rib eye steaks, asparagus, mushroom orzo, hot sourdough bread.

 

I did Impossibility Easy Chili Pie.
Look it up. It's pretty good.

 

Make an easy version of tamales pie. Really like it.

 

Burgers on the charcoal grill. Dogs to.

They were quite enjoyable. Enough so I tried to steal the wife's. She wasn't having it though.

This after a day spent at the Black Bear Festival on the river somewhere on the mainland. Tacos were enjoyed there. Beef and pork. No bear.

Rumor has it a funnel cake went missing during said festival adventures.
