    Truth.
They eat assorted vermin such as rodents and other small animals that live in or around outbuildings and farm fields. The need for the farm cat may have been the original reason cats were domesticated, to keep rodents from consuming or contaminating grain crops stored for later human consumption.

So this belt my Dad wants me to build for him. He really wants it to be lined with horse hide. The problem with horse hide is size... The only portion you can buy is the butt, the rest is made into baseballs. Well most horse butts measure about 48" at the longest point... Thats to short for a belt in my dad's size. So I'm not willing to order it online, sight unseen, knowing the "average" horse butt will not work.

Today I stopped at the local leather shop, that I frequent pretty regularly, looking for a particular stamp or help finding it. They asked what I was going to build and told them about what Dad wanted. They then invited me into "the back" workshop area and showed me a HUGE stack of horse butts.

I now have a standing invite to go back there with a tape measure and search through the entire pile to find what I'm looking for. The owner said, "I'm sure there's at least 1 or 2 in that stack that you could pull a 60" strap out of... Just might take awhile to find it."

So hopefully I will get off early enough on Saturday that I can go spend a few hours measuring horse butts.
