So we're beginning to transition from gym rats back to professional freight relocation specialists.

And we're just AFU this morning.

This week is just not a good week for me...

Burned the ever living piss out of my hand/wrist/arm yesterday at work.

Making a batch of potash in the small mixer. The return hose plugged because it was too long and the pump couldnt pump the high solids solution back to the mixer. So while changing out the hose 2 to 3 cups of nearly boiling water sloshed onto my hands. Couldnt get shed of it fast enough, and my watch band held the heat around my wrist. Large really bad 1st degree burn, and a smaller area of moderate 2nd degree where the watch band was.

Didnt think nothing of it at first, then the pain began to set in. I applied a large burn dressing from the first aid cabinet, then hemmed and hawed about making an official report with work for about an hour before I decided I should probably seek medical assistance.

Of course then I had to make the official report, submit to a drug test, and go sit in the Dr. Office... Just to get some Rx burn cream amd a few days off work.

I dont know how word travels so #### fast, but I had at least 4 people from work come looking for me before I even got done with the report to ask what had happened. I really hate having to go through all that crap with work, but I guess its better than having to foot the medical myself.

Thus morning when I changed the dressing I found some of my really good burn dressing bandages from several years ago when I had lit myself on fire. I put one on my wrist... MUCH better than just burn cream and gauze.

We thought maybe you were doing that Santa Clause in summer like they do at The Golden Nugget.

Lol... Buying medical supplies for wound care is less expensive when shopping at the local livestock supply store. They dont have flesh colored bandage wraps.
