    Headstall is the 1st stall on the right, eastern end of a 12 stall stable. Tail stall would be the # 12 stall at the western end, but on the other side.
    Longer, larger stable would be similar if built east and west. Do not know how they are referred to in one built north o south.

    He'd need 1000 in that awesome environment. 1 acre per suffices here on irrigated pasture. We have 4 on 3 acres now.
