Ive seen both Evil Dead movies, old & new. The new version is probably the best new horror flick Ive seen. Not a fan of overly bloody horror shows like Hills Have Eyes or slashers.

Lol... Most folk that I have had dealings with, either over the phone or other digital media, tell me the same thing. When I was still in my 20s an older gentleman told me I spoke like someone in thier 40s... And more than once I've been told that I have an "Old Soul" or that I was "Born out of Time."

I used to laugh at satements like those... But the older I get the more I see it myself. I have always prefered older company... Especially those that have gotten to the age where they appear to be timeless... They could be 50 or they could be 90, anyones guess.

And I suppose I have to credit it partly to the way I was raised... On a working cattle ranch, that was probably at least 10 years behind the times... And everyone there fit the same statement. Good, strong, wise people... Not a bad way to grow up mind you.

The hat is 20 years old this month... I got it brand new as a B-day present from my Grandmother when I turned 15. It's one of the few possessions of mine that I would consider "prized possessions." If it could talk, boy would it have some good tales to tell... Lol... You ever heard the song "This Cowboys Hat?"... Well it pretty much sums how I feel about this hat... Mine doesnt have quit as colorful a history, but its getting there.

Indeed he did... I saw him live in concert in Blackfoot, ID at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. Think that was 2001 or 2002. I stood 10 feet in front of the stage with my girlfriend on my shoulders. That was a pretty cool experience.
