Slow night so there was a waiting list. Didn’t want to wait so I text dispatch to remove myself from list. He calls. Just got the loads sent over. Told me I didn’t have to take it. It’s a local short run so I said why not. Be home in a few hours.

Well we just found a deer.

    On the interstate.

    A big one.

3 nights hard running in the toilet.

Need fitting for air dryer. Not sure how we made it here.

Need a few other fittings too lol. And a new license plate.

    The OM is not pleased.

Did you run it over while it was trying to nap on the roadway?

That sucks but it’s minimal damage compared to most deer strikes. I’ve had two this year and been lucky with both.

No two ran out maybe 20 feet in front of me. Speed was about 68.

Snapped the hood bracket too. It's dangling by the hood piston.

They were big. Muley's??? I'm in SD.

I think that whole bumper assembly is like $1K.

    Not cheap either.

Going to get the indigenous deer bumper as long as I'm there, once I get air again.

Well. It’s outside metro Atlanta and it pretty ritzy.

So the beaver probably isn’t rabid, he’s just tired of yuppies moving in his neighborhood.
