    Seriously— I salt it and mix it then let it sit in the fridge overnight— salt draws the blood out— pepper it heavily and hang it the next morning— it cures out in 7-10 days and then transfer it to the cheese cloth bag so it can breathe. After that, you can do about anything with it— It’ll keep in a ziplock or any other container— I usually put a handful in my lunch box or pack if I’m of grid.

    Better call the folks. Unprecedented monsoon tain shows on radar to be taining much harder in Wick than that sad excuse for a hurritain.

    No problem man— hardly anyone does it like that anymore— it’s about as old school as old school can get and not many like it that way— I been raised on it

    Thats a bad one??? We have been known to get that much snow on the 4th of July round these parts!

    They’re on high ground and have ample supplies and red wine so they’ll ride it out fine

    How it was— my great uncle’s and grandpa hung it on strands of barbed wire under a shade tree—clothes line and the basement are a relatively new technology
