I don’t remember Atlantic but I do remember Arco. That’s going back a long time.

We didn't have them out where I grew up we did have the Richfield stations that merged with Atlantic. It's an East/West kinda thing.

Ah, the days of stainless steel trailers that grooved for the airflow; not vertical post sided to hold you. Last forever if you did not beat it up.
Can't see a stack, must be a B42'ish. Overnites' proud slogan.. "Overnite Evernite". Ran US 29 out of Atlanta into the Carolinas like fleas on a dogs back...
I would put them right up there with McLean, 2 good outfits that ran that road..
One of my equipment company partners brother was a mechanic for Overnite in Columbia, SC They started to run into Memphis; as team with doubles...
So he just made arrangements to come down and pulling a team trip. Out of Columbia to/thru Atlanta and US 78 thru Tupelo to Memphis.
"Demp", my partner walked out of the shop to hand chastise someone out front laying down on an air horn. There sat a set of Overnite doubles; idling in front of our shop, with his brother "Hoyle" tugging the horn cord and grinning like an ape. The 4 Carr brothers were men to set your sights by; driving, mechanicing,or killing Germans in WWII.
All 4 gone now for several years.

I passed one yesterday. Looked like it hadn’t been open in 50 years. But it still had a big red Atlantic sign on a pole. I would have liked to have it
