I saw a Yeti in the back of a pickup truck in Louisiana. I can confirm they are real. From what I hear, they hold ice for a long time too.

I don't have any first-hand yeti experience but I've seen them on the beach quite frequently and I hear they keep the beer super cold for you. I can also confirm they are real.

@lovesthedrive .... the first time I saw a picture of the Yeti was many-many years ago. I was maybe 12 or 13. It was taken on a expidition to the summit of Mt Everest. There was a pretty darned good image of an all white hairy bipedal something trying to scurry away. It drew a lot of attention at that time. Who knows[?] - maybe it was a hoax but the people in the Himalayas did then and still do believe strongly in the creature and have collected samples of hair and things including sculls which no one can identify.

So, yes I do believe there is something to it and always hoped that one day science would announce it as a rare species of snow ape or something..

I wish I'd seen the program that Dave saw.... maybe it will rerun somewhere?

It may well have been a documentary of an early expidition - like of the first men to climb the mountain - I can't remember for sure, but it was a very real (untouched) photograph. Never forgot it and I think about that photo everytime I hear about Yeti aka Abominable Snowman.

Yup I remember seeing it in National Geographic. It was quite the thing to read about. Yet with all these experts around? Why havent there been more sightings? I mean seriously, trail cams cant photograph the elusive creature? As well as thermal imaging? No one bothered to do a thermal survey of the area?

Yes Barcode, I too have seen those Yeti.

This is the Russian Yeti in the series. The Menk. Apparently it pulls the tongue out of it's victims.

It would be great if this were true.
