I've had a few of those. I had six of them at one point, I used to dabble in a lot of restoring cars and selling them. I got into the old Lincoln's not only because they were cool but I was able to buy a lot of eight of them at an auction.

These things must have awesome range. They have been putting them downtown at Riverwalk and channelside and this is a few blocks from my work so it made it like a good 10 miles....I'm impressed. IMG_20191004_151621269.jpg

Well good ol Wyoming is currently gusting at 45mph. All the signs are saying expect gusts to +60mph.

Yup I’m done for the day. Too much risk and no reason to push it. I’m early anyway.

Actually the head ache on them is the lack of maintenance. They are wicked popular in big citys. Pay something like $5 and it will ride you anywhere. Tho the sad part is people arent returning them to the chargers. There should have been a phone number on the unit to call and report where the unit had been abandoned. The companies that rent them are supposed to have a truck that will come collect the wayward units.

The article below is cities realizing the need for some regulation on them.
Boom in electric scooters leads to more injuries, fatalities

Well, apparently, part of the problem was that people were getting hammered and taking them out for a spin. Both fatalities in Atlanta were drunk. Which, if you're going to get hit by a car, is the way to go.

What I enjoy doing at the VA hosptial is when we work a staff into the elevator with several people.

If any one expresses nervously about the elevator I just laugh it off and say

These things are good to the last drop. Easy peasy. no worries.

(As long the side of car shaft track brakes hold.... on the way down...)
