I dont do well in the heat... Ive spent to many days in sub zero temperatures astride a horse for work to do well in the heat... I can handle cold down to about -25 F with the right gear... But anything over about 80 F and it feels like I'm going to die at any moment.

After a certain point you quit hurting in the cold... One must be careful to keep moving to keep circulation up after such a point because your body it actually starting to go into a kind of survival mode. I have worked many a winter outside exposed to the elements, and know how to do so without injury.

But the heat is a whole nother beast indeed... And I'd rather not quarrel with it.

Thats how I keep the sun off of me... Cowboy hat, kerchief around the neck, light weight long sleeve shirt, jeans... Increase the weight of shirt, add layers, and cover ears and hand to combat cold.

I put it on backwards so the solid part is over my face so it doesn't get burned. I'm such a Souper trucker that I don't need to see, I can do it off feel better than most guys can with their eyes.

Well conditions in Montana near the park are basically mid winter.

There's big horn sheeps and elks in the roadways, so hammer down.

There's some ol boy hard jackknifed off the road in a flatbed, took an icy curve a bit fast I'm thinking.

    HAMMER DOWN DANG IT!!!!!!!

Snow and ice, temps in the mid 20s. By the Grace of Almighty God and His Son Jesus, I've made it to a place and got a lasagne off the 90.

The OM of course had to eat some, and has gone into frenzy.

    We shall press onward.
