    Did that when I was like 7 years old.
    Seem to remember they had a part that went over the front of the toe as well as the side pieces.
    It was the early sixties.

    I let the daughter’s volleyball team talk me into doing the rollerblade thing about the time I turned 50 — I’m convinced that stepping into the ring with Iron Mike would have been more fun— least that would have been quick and relatively painless
