    You would think that there would be a single place on earth that a guy could spend a couple hours in private contemplating whether or not it will be a good crappie fishing year without being disturbed by SOMEONE putting demands on him — I didn’t even know she was out and the other half don’t get home for another hour or so

    You've got your priorities all mixed up.
    Here's an example of an exemplary life:
    Get up
    Turn on coffee
    Turn up thermostat
    Pee
    Get coffee
    Go outside
    Feed the cat
    Sit down and have a smoke.

    After that, she doesn't bug me. That's our quiet time.
    But the secret is, feed the cat first and you'll have no problems. Feed the cat first

    Appreciate it and that’s pretty much the early morning agenda here—when your’s gets to be 14 and borderline senile we can continue this conversation— I really had no idea that cats could live as long as she has and she don’t show any signs of slowing down
