    I live in the path of totality. Leaving Colorado Springs in the am. Vacation is over. Should be home Thursday pm and my wife already has me rototilling and getting our little garden in. Told her that the eclipse is going to kill everything I plant but she ain't buying it. So even though the eclipse traffic on Sunday and Monday will be brutal, I'm looking forward to getting back to work so I can get some rest.

    When I had my paper route back in the mid 70’s we would stop by Crackdonalds on the weekends after throwing our routes and get fish sandwiches for breakfast. Good times ~

    No work for at least a week. We can’t get through to 2 different pads because of flooding. And it’s still taining. Another pad is moving to new location. Two more end tomorrow.

    I remembers like 8 or 9 years ago the drought tained so much, the water level was within like a foot of I-40 in Ark Kansas.

    Around Memphis, The Mississippi was about to top the levees.
