    The Beneke Mack sported an open floor plan. You lay up on the shelf with knees drawn up in case driver made sudden stop, Cab floor heat would rise pretty good and windows down gave ventilation, hot or cool, depending on season. 2/60 air, both vents open and 60 MPH.
    Truckers were strong in those days, and smelled like it....

    Oldest daughter in KY has one that walks the wooden fence steadily. He come from his tree somewhere, clambers across her fence, drops down and dines on the neighbor cats food. Replete, he trundles back. Fat, like this one. One slip and bye bye cods tho.

    I didn’t lose taste or smell when I had it, at least not a whole lot.

    There was some chest congestion that lingered for a couple weeks though.
