Reminds me of a few years ago our fridge went out. Wife and I went to lowes looking around. Guy in appliance dept asked what we were looking for , I told him a fridge like our old one it lasted 26 years. Guy said buy the extended warranty because nothing in this whole store is gonna last 26 years.

It's a Dagger caterpillar. 4 black spines can be toxic. We've the Woolly bear caterpillar up here. It's a weather folklore predictor.

A propane one would probably outlast most of us, they can be set up for natural gas also, we had one at our cabin in CA, it was a great fridge. I'm not talking RV type, household type is available.

I said that and fixing refrigerators is something I do!!

When it comes to any appliances, I would not purchase any thing with the name “ Samsung “ on it. That is a For Sure. Had to replace almost everything with that name in 5 years. Refrigerator, washer, dryer. We had one of the washers that would explode. They got sued, and had to offer some sort of compensation. When we replaced it, they wouldn’t pay the “rebate” offered.

Yes I did— in fact I brought several home with me cause their TS is much better than our TS — I’d almost bet they are made by the same company as camp chef is — thanks for the intel
