Good thing it was fast food. Otherwise would have taken 14 hours for them to make it.

So I put in 693 miles today... Pull into the FJ in Big Springs, NE... Go to the back of the lot as usual. As im turning down the last row of parking (the dirt row) I see about 6 open spots half way down the line. I think "Awesome"... Wrong, thise spots are not empty they are actually ocupied by ONE... Yes ONE SHNIEDER TANKER! He was obviously the first one to park on the dirt row, and was either to stupid or lazy to park the correct direction. Instead he parked ACROSS enough space for at least 6 trucks. I thought of backing in right in front of his front bumper to block him in, as there is just enough room for 1 truck in front of his bumper... I probably should have. But I dont want to listen to his stupid dribble about why I blocked him in, when he surely wakes me in the middle of the night to move so he can leave... SMDH

Manatee center is open now...it's officially winter. I think we are gonna go there today, water is still way too warm for the manatees to herd there but the nature trails are still nice to walk around on.

We have a local hardees on the bypass vilonia road (Highway 64) near 67 that does a good job for a independant branded joint. Its also getting to where beef burgers are hard to come by. What with whopper advertising plant based burgers. (Ugh...) among others.

However growing up in our Tavern we had a special 2/3 pound sirloin ground burger on sysco sesame with all the trimmings that was always good. That particular meal set passed on when the place was sold off after the owners retired. Ones dead and the other is in Florida living out his days under medical supervision. He will outlive us all.

Little Rock has a number of small delis with a capability for making a good burger meal if you did not want to make it yourself at home for a few dollars. We would die young through a variety of blood vessel or obesity related illnesses but we will be happy.

It's amazing reading on here how when asking about a job the first two questions are governor and camera.. not pay and benefits. Maybe this is why I did trucking wrong and was able to retire after 20 years lol. I should have been more concerned about a camera instead of 120k/yr pay with 100% company paid healthcare and a pension....which they now want to buy out for an absurd amount of money.

I have ranted or rather pounded the table against cameras looking at me. Im NOT civilized when working. If I was to put up with a camera in my face, they can at least install a 5 inch monitor and camera one of their office pretties in real time on my end. Fairs fair. //sarcastic.

I'll be the first to have a thousand cameras all over to prove a preventable is not among other things at my expense. It's crazy. a form of camera wars.

120K would be a income not worth the trouble. The taxes would consume most of it. We actually don't need much in the deep south, unlike say Maryland back home who have buried themselves in half million dollar mansions and 30,000 dollar annual taxes on same. Poor things. Working too hard just to exist.

I don't have cameras where I'm at now and didn't for most of my career but I really don't care if there are any. Financial security is a lil more important to me than a camera. You wanna watch me butcher songs on the radio and pick my nose ....have at it lol. I don't know how guys with smaller fleets do it lol. If I was hiring someone and those were the first two questions out of their mouths.....I don't want them driving my truck.
