One of the kin folk's backyard inside The Pennsylvania.

    Eagle don't give a ####.

You know why eagle don't give a ####?

Cause he had honey badger up in that tree last week.

Still haven’t made it to the quack on the corner to do the medical card thing — boss was talking about hauling some gravel in the next day or so, told him he better hire it done cause I ain’t an outlaw (sounds good on paper) — we’ll be going to the big time medical joint first thing in the morning and then to the DMV shortly afterwards

    Like this...Sierra Blanca, TX...
Yes, like this old place. Seems as if everyone stopped in there going west. Be 8 to 10 rigs sitting around, eating sleeping . Just taking a break.
Couple of Southern Sash of Sheffield, Tuscumbua, Al. A Pine Sol rig, Dumas Milner, Jackson, MS. Maybe a Frank Phillips or A.Joseph, Produce, Mphs and Jackson. Cullman Banana, Cullman, AL Might be a couple of J.H. Rose, Houston, TX, flatbeds with about 10" tall stack of drill stem. And of course.. Bennie Rogers / Morton, MS and Jessie Jewel's , Gainesville, GA chicken trucks. Ice packs draining like artesian wells.
Many times, a team going west would put a give out solo in his sleeper and drive him for 2 or 3 hours to get him "ambulatory " again.

Different times back then. Some of those mentioned above would put the latter day so called "outlaw" drivers to shame.
Not by reputed speeds and hours point to point, but with the old equipment, and road/traffic conditions and the time under the steering wheel from home to LA.
No idea why it drew trade. Repair it to new and staff with the people, would be exactly the same. Not a shade tree in sight, Post Office and a few stores. Maybe 5 houses visible.

Driven by that place hundreds of times. Doesn't look that good anymore.
