Analog and stretch band. It was good enough for my dad for as long as I can remember. It’s still good enough for me now.

I was always told don't get in for moar than you can afford to lose.

I used to roll the dice pretty hard. One school burnt down, kids torched it, about 2/3 of the way through. Had about $40K I waited on for 18 months. Finally got it. That was over 20 years ago.

Lost about $80K on one job. That was the end for me. Was like special forces training for 8 months. And paid $80K for the privilege. But we finished it.

The Feds can’t walk away from a signed contract— might take some time and maybe cause some #### with our esteemed representative, but you’ll get paid with interest — and I would start the process of causing #### with our esteemed representative immediately cause he deserves it

What Tramm said. Gentle inquiry to the rep to get a whiff of any wind blowing.

I really had it rolling when I got out of the electrical contracting.

There was one project that was so F hard, massive rigid pipework, and I knew there'd be massive change orders to make money.

The owner of the GC, who was a seriously powerful dude, was going," You said change order glory right from the pre-job, how could you have possibly known this?"

I knew the architect. I knew the school system. I said just walk the job.

It was hundreds of thousands dollars. LOL.

Maybe… if you were charging for the study of the affects of cocaine on sea bass. But you are just a guy who is getting shafted. I’m sure there are hundreds more like you. Raw deal.

Wait. Is this California where a bird is classified as a Sea Bass?
