Last time I priced a pick-up you paid extra for a manual, and it wasn't a small amount. Now this was 10 years ago, but when I was younger manual was the cheaper and more reliable option.
They said the reason manual cost more was because nobody wanted them anymore, now if that's B.S. or not I don't know, what I do know is I WAS NOT paying extra for a manual. It was one of the medium duty Chevys ( land scapers) use them around here.
Next time I want more truck I'll just go to the auction and see what they have.

Stopped for the night in northern Oklahoma, after picking up a live load in southern tainy Texas. All the weights looked really good on this load. Going to grab a steak, egg, and cheese sub in the morning before starting for the day.

The OM is......... still in kitty bed.

    The driver is UP!!!!!!!!

The driveway is getting three(3) deep at this PEELOT.

I started the main engine, and had my Cheerios, and are doing warm in the driveway before they go four(4) deep, and no one can move.

    Stealth mission shall commence forthwith.

My stealth mission was ruined by excessive rhinoceros visitation...but I feel rested.

Still at the Tennessean....can smell the smoke from the bbq smoker.

I wish I could stay, but I gotta get at least another four hours up the road to put me in position for tomorrow's drop.

    And now tain has commenced.

Well, no way through it but through it.......Later all.

The concept of giving up the fun tickets taken from the rich smart peoples doesn’t really sound appealing

Go to the VA for your health benefits at no cost. You don't have to be a war hero or anything, lord knows I wasn't. But SS will hit you for $185 a month for part B, but you don't have to take it. And if you have VA benefits, you don't need it.
Navigating the whole retirement/SS/health plans can be a real science project. But if you're patient you can work through it.
Me and The Hazul are both on SS. We do about $4500 a month between us and life has never been easier. BUT, we don't owe anybody anything either. Our bills amount to light bill, cable bill, and telephone bill which leaves us about $4k for booze and cigarettes. It's tough, but we get by.

Since my attempts to get the other half to take on a second job have failed miserably I am looking for other options
