I can watch tv channels from Portugal and have a hard time understanding what they are saying...
Sounds like they don't speak clear Portuguese...

It is probably using a translator from a computer (subtitles). I must admit, it makes for some interesting reading at times.

 

Não, eu não tenho idéia. No entanto, o google tem um português para incentivar o tradutor que estou usando para confundir o resto dos leitores aqui. Não sei quanto tempo os mods permitirão essas postagens, pois é um canal somente em inglês.

 

Yeah... there are channels on this tv here.. that show foreign movies from all over the world... I try to understand the ones in Spanish and Portuguese from Portugal just by listening... but sometimes....

If one day I go to a country where I don't speak their language, I will use Google translator.. hope that will help... Back in the past, folks used to use those pocket books...

 

Google translator can be used with voice function as well.... I am not sure how it works but I think one can type in their own language and play the translation for the other person to hear in their language.. that sounds like cool...
