I got some form of roller dog and a coffee at The Love's in Ellensburg earlier.

And it was the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life.

California is going to legislate themselves out of existence.

On a better note, I got my 386 back. I missed that truck. The engine sounds so smooth. Its now got like 85mi on it. Gonna hopefully get loaded tomorrow then come back to the house then deliver Monday.

Smith unwritten key 6: "When you hear loud crunch noises, remember not to explain it by eyes reading this list"

Its a small peeve, company crap all over the truck. I just soon as hang a nice lush nature photo over that huge sticker with a bit of duct tape and call it good.

As a side note, US 67 is getting violent, there is a small cell that is capable of being tornado that will hit Searcy shortly. Noisy wakeup call for the Loves up there in about 20 minutes. Rain is one thing thats fine. But it's these tiny annoying little cells that literally act like three county Kansas summer supercells here.

So I took the beat ### old yard dog like a mile and a half down the road to grab a rental trailer. worst idea I have had in a while lol. That thing is scary at however fast I was going. I'm gonna realistically guess 35mph but it felt like 350mph lol.

I survived and made it to SLC. Despite everyones clever attempts to assassinate me.

Witnessed just about every mistake one can make driving in winter conditions. Too much stupid to remember where it all happened. Some where between Rock Springs and Green river i want to say there was a Jacknife blocking both westbound lanes, everyone had to pass it on the shoulder. And of course we had idiots stopping on the hill, because of course it was on a hill. A few bloody near went sideways climbing. I stubbornly put it in grandaddy low and did little better than at times 3rd. And only maybe twice ran out of room to do so.

Stopped over in Sinclair to use the facilites, cause where i was at had none. And of course a driver was stuck on the exit ramp spinning out. Since i had stopped far enough behind him, i backed him down to solid pavement and he got going. As did the now ramp full of trucks behind us.

There was a 15 mile backup at like the 150 mark WB, i think. Like i said to much stupid to remember it all. Someone slid off the right shoulder or something.

Past little america everything was pretty peachy. But i was mildly disturbed by the fact that the previous 100s of trucks stuck in the back up near Rock springs was nowhere to be seen. Worked my way past a few. Kept a cavernous gab between me and another guy who was running pretty decent (mostly just so i i could see him slide first if conditions worsened).

By the time i hit Utah practically no one was going westbound. Didnt see basically anyone else till i hit Parleys summit. (Granted i got to West Valley and shortly before midnight.) Seems like 98% of them called it after green river. But i had no traction issues past there, so oh well.

There were a few more wrecks, couple back ups east bound. And the usual assortment of the Conga line of fail, which i either passed or hung back depending on just how dicey that left lane was. Then a step deck nearly took my hood off jumping right back over after passing me, somwhere near rawlins maybe.

    Shower, laundry, and next bed.

Fort Bridger Hill is what gets me sometimes on pure ice.

I usually just zone out and think back to the eastern hills on pure ice under light rain to really slide. Sometimes Ive accepted that shes gonna slide and allowed her to all the way down. That took care of most issues and terror.

If you are going to let thing slide...

But coming back up? Ugh, tear into those drive tires and interlock. USUALLY she made it. but range trapped in RPM by the top. 150 RPM too slow stuck, 70 rpm too fast too much power spin out.
