If someone is actually looking for knowledge anvils, vices, etc. The site "I forge Iron" is pretty good for that stuff.

Mods if that's not allowed feel free to delete.

There are places that you can order blanks too make your own tongs, that will hold up to forge heat, unless you brain fart and leave them in the fire.

Opus, a blacksmith with those shown could make or repair anything in use back in the day.. (Horse and wagon and plows.)
Give a real machinist a turning lathe, and he will make you nearly any other machine you need.

Anyone remember seeing the first big cheap vises from Harbor Freight. Clamp down on a problem, whack it with the BIG hammer...
Vise fell off in three pieces dropped the work in the floor.... Quality has improved.

So— I can already feel the hatred this post is gonna produce— we landed a sizable project a couple months ago that’ll take the better part of the next 3 years to complete but it’s governed by the Bid—Bi.. I can’t say it— Inflation Reduction Act which has a provision that a certain amount of Apprentices have to be employed on the site— Big Daddy mandated that we will embrace this and create our own training to comply fully with the Act— I found out today that I am to be the HMFIC of the concrete setup/finishing + Estimating curriculum— I told Big Daddy that he just as well fire me right now than to wait and have to deal with the complaints and lawsuits that will result from my instructing style
