Never had the law bust me for that, but I have gotten a few nastygrams from the Safety Department saying the average speed was too high. :biggrin_25520:

It’s 06:04 military time and The Boys sounded like alarm about 15 minutes ago that they needed to PEE and they PEE bad!!! The schedule for lawn maintenance has changed and the neighbors most likely won’t like the change

Dad talks about running 3 loads of sand from down in Jersey up to PA per day, gravel down, sand back, and then the random days they would get back from that to discover the boss had another truck aired up ready to roll, load coal in Western PA, bring to northern IN, unload, bounce to Southern IN, and load grain back. All one straight round. Took 3 log books to make it work. Last round like that he did, he fell asleep in one of the tunnels on the PA turnpike, another driver yelled at him over the CB and woke him up just as he crossed the line headed toward the wall… he turned his keys in along with the load tickets after that. That’s been years ago, and he said he still hasn’t made stronger income than working there, but it was a dogs life.

My record week was 5,700 +/- miles in 1 week. Did very close to that for 9 weeks straight, 6 day weeks. That was Shortly after the truck engine had grenaded and needed a platinum kit. All ag exempt, and you are right, there is no more powerful motivator than a dry checking account, and the knowledge the mortgage payment, and insurance are both due in a week. And, eating semi regularly rates relatively high with me as well lol. Not sorry I did it, but Not saying I would want to run like that all the time, but some of the pansies in some other threads on here whining that their clock gets COMPLETELY filled up,every day annoy the hooey out of me. And one guy told me I’m obviously a liar when I said it’s possible to drive 4,000+ miles a week.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
