I'm not disagreeing with that at all, but redwing and Ariat I can normally get close to 2 years out of on my feet all day and worn 7 days a week, I've only had one pair that didn't and that was not the boots fault. I did not know I was going to be cleaning a bunch of condensers at a supermarket, so my boots were not mink oiled like they should have been and the chemical ate the threads in the sole, drove home with my boots duct taped together.

IMG_0933.jpeg These are my snow removal boots, this will be season 6 for them, still shiny waterproof and happy. Only a little bit of work for happy dry feet

Haha, I hope you are not just noticing that, remember he does enjoy going to the white stuff and sliding down mountains with sticks on his feet.

Full disclosure…..the company credit card with my name on it buys my boots, boss was shocked at the price at first. Tried my boots on, had me order some for him and the other two operators. But I would be getting the same if my money

in all honesty , i wear hiking style boots , Columbia to be precise. They are comfortable with my fairly high arches . Its hard to nearly impossible to put cowboy boots on .
