Does anybody in California own a map? Ever peek at one? Ever study one in school?

How can anyone look at a map, and decide that SFO is in NORTHERN California? The only north part of SFO is that it's north of Southern Cal.

Redding, maybe. Weed, Alturas, sure. But SFO? It ain't northern ANYTHING.

Once i get up and over grapevine headed northbound ive always considered that like the line drawn in the sand between northern and southern cal... Going southbound once u get over and down grapevine ur right in the middle of northern LA it is like 2 different states on either side of the mountain.

Zane grey and one other Louis Amour I believe wrote stories based on the actual ground they walked in while building the story. Once in a while you can see it as you run around the west if you had the book with you.

Yep I just stopped for a break east of North Platte... And saw this... See pic below.

So a change of plans is in order... By time I would make it to Cheyenne it would be standing room only and I'm not interested in loosing a hood. So I'm jumping off 80 at Ogalalla and will run US 26 all the way to Idahofalls. Should be able to male it to the rest area at the US26/I-25 Jct tonight.... Maybe the HatSix TS in Casper... But I highly doubt it. Then tomorrow I will finish my journey home.
