Was some guys lived in Chipley, FL. Had a deal to maintain Walmart (and some others as found) shopping carts. Would blow into Tupelo once a year in a little 3/4 ton stake, piled with tools, pressure washer welder, with a dog and bedclothes. Spend several days doing stores here and the 15 mile vicinity. Sometime call ahead and order 2 or 300 shopping cart wheels. While here; and before leaving, ordered ?? more to ship on to a Walmart on up the state. Ordered by CC, paid when here cash.

This was while I worked part time as an old retired man $14.75 per hr, half day M-F, `1998 - 2008. Sometimes 8 to 12, others 1 to 5. Depended on how often it changed managers..

Two trucks ago, went with the boss to pick up a new f250 at the time. He was chatting with the salesman and asked me to go over the truck to make sure all was good. After the outside, I got in to check the inside turned the key, truck only had a quarter tank in it.”Fuel gauge is broken” I said. Boss and salesman both are surprised. How do you know? asks the salesman. “It’s not reading full, and I know you wouldn’t sell a vehicle this expensive without a full tank” Salesman turns red calls over a lot worker and sends him off in the truck to fill it up.

Sometimes it is not what you actually say, it how you present it and carry it off... My compliments.

More detail on the part time job./
Last pic; the Mobility Center shot, with the display rack to the right.
All those were assembled there from individual components. If you walked in and wanted 1 or 2, off the shelf.
Usually kept 4 of each made up. More than that; if wait for, I would stick together. Not uncommon to get order
for 200 to 500 of a wheel (with bearings) for a furniture plant. Large order, we got prepaid freight, and customer
came over and picked up. So we offered free shipping long before Amazon and Ebay.
It is amazing the ways you can rig a caster for a purpose. Yet every day, I see misapplied sizes, treads, swivel/rigid in apps.
Also, a hospital has more casters on chairs and equipment than any office building. Look and learn next in....
