I got the 5mph Grand Prize Derate before I even got out of the parking lot.

Called Mechanical Control, was told to pull a couple fuses to negate the speed info going to the ECM, thereby rigging the "system" to our advantage.

MC said the engine performance would be "poochy", which I took to mean "like a fat, lazy, non-scalded dog".

I was correct. But I got it home.

Gotta run it up to the local stealership on Monday, then they can take stock of any SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE.

I called Missus Skillet to come get me, but she's either napping or outside talking with the new-ish neighbor lady.

I guess I'll finish up the last of my pulled pork sammiches, then take a nap.
