    Same here. I hated it at the time but I learned a lot. My dad owned a welding shop and had a mobile welding rig for on site repairs. At the time I wanted to do anything else besides help him in the shop but looking back they were good times...very good times.

    Lemme tell ya, the progress the finger has made is UNBELIEVABLE!!! Last Monday, I went for my 6 week check up and the Ortho-doc said the deep injury had healed and all that was left was the superficial wound on the end. The tip is a bit scabbed over.

    I've worked this past week with no brace or any protective cover on it. Was I nervous? Yes sir. Always concerned I would bump it but it never bothered me.

    All I have to work on is getting my range of motion back. Keeping the finger immobilized for 6 weeks has made it very stiff, plus the skin is still growing back.
