Split berth isnt as hard to figure out as most think... I'll save ya the bore of me explaining it. But I do use it ALOT... Especially when I want to switch from days to nights mid run, or to maximize drive time when I'm going to be at a shipper/reciever that like to hold me for 2+ hours. It can also be very handy if the road has been closed and then opens again (but I expect it to close again) before I have gotten a full 10 hours in.

Well I made it home. Traveled 493 miles... In 9 hours and 38 mins. That ought to tell you what the roads were like, they could have been worse... But it wasn't entirely pleasant.

I-25 from Glendo to Casper was pretty #### slick. US26 was awesome until Dubois. Over Towegotee it was 1 to 2 inches of fresh snow on top of ice, and snowing to beat the band.

Almost hit 4 deer, and went right through an entire herd of elk on the brakes as hard as I dared with the train horns bellowing. Only other thing I could do was pray one didnt jump in front of me and for the rest to get the F off the road.

From Swan Valley to Idahofalls was smooth sailing. I no more than got parked in the yard and it started dumping snow like there's no tomorrow. Put down over an inch in 20 mins.
