That train I road in 1984 was an outlier in my experience in China. I road the same train in 1986 and everything was quite modern. By the 1990's China became the Wild West of capitalism, Socialism style.
Hate to say it, I've become kinda numb to where things are made if they are not made in the U.S. Bias my purchase decision toward local/domestic products followed by other non-hostile nations........
Need to call the logging company and find out when they are figuring on replanting this place. I'll probably call the state DNR folks and see if I can get some of the other species for next year to get some diversity in the trees.
Hopefully the trees are native to your area.
