@homeskillet I stumbled across that "gush of acceptability" you refer to myself. My own thoughts were he was not trucker material and would not ever become one. Figured he would die a natural death (On TTR and an actual some day) so no need to bother.
(I've lived to 90 letting the wagon wheel of time roll on thru shxt like that.)

It was 2800 mile week but we put 750k beans on the table—it was hard but we improvised, adapted and overcame and now we relax

@Opus... With that frank review, what's your take on my BBQ Rib joint and the Mex place nearby us.
Feel free on the BBQ, they closed it and went back to the one they have in Corinth..

I gotta say it’s a toss up. Either one will wear you out after a day of riding

Harvesting is fulfilling... Makes the seeding and tending worthwhile, sitting by the fire reviewing...

There’s nothing like a beer out in the shop by the stove.

…That is, until you have to brave the cold for the couple dozen feet to get back to the house.

And in my travels, I ran into the Squid and he was occupied with a project and I didn’t want to F with him to much cause he was experiencing a high level of stress, but I think he did a bang up job and told him so and if the MF’er that puts this on his noggin don’t like it, he can go… never mind

Both above average. The Hazul really enjoyed the Mexican place and your company.
Going forward, I would ask that you not rub her leg during dinner.
