    I've been the same way with the motorcycle. We don't ride much anymore, we don't trailer anywhere. I figure if I get to where I can't ride it anymore I'll take the engine off and put it on the lawnmower with straight pipes. My neighbor's think I'm crazy anyway. PXL_20251018_093948681.jpg

    sage advice. I’m better than I was, but still young enough to get shxt on my shoe sometime. I stumbled on that CF of a thread this morning. It’s been terribly redacted, but I figured out enough to know I didn’t miss anything.

    You might say that as a joke however, I got an old large Cadet mower with a twin 24 horse Kawasaki engine on. No mufflers just twins stuck out the back. I fooled with it til I got it to idle with that wonderful, classic “potato, potato” sound just to listen to. I do sometimes take a notion and cut with it but it’s loud enough under a strain to make your nose bout bleed. Sounds like somebody cutting grass with a pan head!
