The terminals get loose. Melt the plug. I just replaced the harness/plug and switch a couple years ago. I had to tape terminals up, Moral of the story. Replace switch as soon as it acts up. It’s a common problem on Freightliners. Old ones anyways. Almost a fire hazard. Funny thing is dash blower switch never goes bad, though it gets all the use.

My IPad 2 works better than my 3 year old windows that is constantly updating every time you turn it on

My windows machine has updates, but it's also not 3x more expensive for a name on it. Functionality is better, upgrades are cheaper, and did I mention I didn't pay 3x more for the same components? As far as the "safety" of Mac vs Windows, having worked in tech and cyber security I know that for a false salespoint.

Stay off those free snoo snoo sites. The majority of "viruses" on windows are bloatware and Spyware that is actually still found on Mac and just isn't reported. Over the last year Malware has actually gone up by over 400% on Mac. The biggest security threat is really human error over equipment.

Also install the LTSB, if I remember right, version of windows 10. It's bloat free and only installs critical updates.
