    As a reference point (and the I why I called somebody in Main a southerner)

    Sorrento (from the signature) is about the same distance north of the equator as Albany, OR. Per the maps I am about 140 miles travel distance north of Albany.....

    Unless you run wide singles. By regulation your supposed to do all drives at minimum requirements.
    Most of the time, no one says anything if you only put one set on.

    That rule is for the ones using cables not actual chains. Same rule applies to the ones running duals and using cables.

    Time to start my winter driving routine. Starting tomorrow, 4 loads booked between Monday and Friday, then home by Saturday, all NorCal up the I-5 to Portland/Seattle and back twice. Looks like it will be cold in OR and WA but no snow on the I-5. Maybe some rain but hey, free truck wash.
