What is the difference between a standard reefer and a space saver reefer?

    I just wanted to know what the differences were between a standard reefer and a space saver reefer. Your information is much appreciated.

    Wall thickness due to insulation would be my guess .. the only terms I’m used to is a ice cream spec ( more insulation ) and a standard .. the ice cream spec is smaller inside

    Like Dr Who's phone booth maybe one is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. Never heard of a space saver refrigerated trailer.

    Most of the ones I know of are basically a insulated dry van with a small unit. Most have a flat floor for nursery loads.
