An employer sued you over an incident?

Nope. The crashees did. One tried to get me to pay for his widdle house, but was thrown out completely dismissed when he was caught doctor shopping trying to use the little bump owie as a excuse to get more narcotics. His employer fired him for being late. That was the reason he penetrated into the dock area off wilkens ave past the gaurd shack when I was backing into it. *Shedds closes the dock area access to all vehicles when a 18 is moving to dock or leave.

The other was a bit more of a problem. I took her car out with a cabover on the right steer changing lanes near the Natl Cathedral on 495 in the S's The old battle axe probably died not too long ago considering how much time has gone by. The Judge forced the insurance company to settle because I was paying the price of a huge preventable accident by not getting hired in trucking. I made it work by working in places that dont check recent history etc.

None of my employers want to sue me. Frankly half of them are not without sin and no longer exist anywhere in the USA. They do not think that grandly. They prefer to fire you. Once you are fired if you are not charged with anything, they cannot touch you. I do keep a very close eye on two. Either would be a golden ticket should i catch em slip up on BL laws.

When it comes to being fired for accidents there is no easy answer to your question. The right answer should be no more then 2 in many years of driving. Unfortunately the carriers need warm bodies in the trucks so they put up with it. These days to get fired with most carriers you have to be total tool. I saw a USA Truck almost take out 3 cars this morning on the Hampton Roads bridge tunnel. Just not paying any attention to what was in that other lane. I no longer can drive anything. However even in the right seat of a car I can't seem to be able to go from Norfolk to the Jefferson Blvd exit on I 64 without seeing a trucker that has NO BUSINESS in a CMV. This seems to have got worse over the last 4 years since I retired.

I think I remember you Moose. Welcome back.

There should be absolutely NO problem getting a big rig through the freaking Hamptons Bridge Tunnel. I spent the first few months of my misspent life in that stupid tunnel every day, several times a day and NONE of those days, as young, stupid and clueless I ever was with that fresh shiny class A I never put any cars at risk inside that tube.

The only time that tube is a liability is when they close it to flush the Carriers out. Something Obama has not done in the last 8 years. Im in contact with several Public Information Officers on deployed carriers and they are finally at sea. So they write celebrating the fresh sea air and green waters on the bridge so they say. I worry about them, they go into harms way. While 5 or so sit tied up together rotting and rusting quietly near the Norfolk bridges.

Im having a little trouble with newbies in Arkansas with 18 wheelers doing things that a decent trainer would have beaten out of them long ago or sent them home rather than accept the liability.

Part of me is GLAD I am off the road. There is a however, a BIG part of me that is ASHAMED at the quality that has rotted out there for all to see. I just about cannot stand it.

I think if I live long enough and there is no one left in my world here, Im a fixing to go to say... Kit Carson or something small. Like a tiny 200 pop town with at least one decent truckstop.

Hmmm...which would concern me more...keeping a job at Weiner, or getting my foot in the door of a reputable company?

With 4 preventables someone should be more concerned about keeping the job they have, let alone thinking about moving on to a place more reputable, IMO.
