    2004 Freightliner Columbia
    14L Detroit 500 HP
    10 Spd Eaton
    3.70 rears

When I got the truck, I ran 70 mph everywhere and got 5.5-5.7. Dropped to no faster than 65 and I can EASILY get 7.7 on a light load and 6.3-6.5 on a full one.
Avg since buying this truck in August last year is 6.3 MPG.
and I DO idle when I need to.

I drove with CR England for about a year, "hated it", but they run 60 series 14L 500/hp detroit with 3:55 gears and were getting 7mpg+. The freightliner- detroit combo is a great money maker for otr.

I've been researching the Pittsburg box and also the FASS. What do you think? Is the box worth it? Thanks

I beleive the Pittsburgh Power Box will void your engine warranty.

I run a FASS pump on my Dodge/Cummins pulling truck, works great on it, it will add a extra fuel filter and a water separator which can't hurt. Diesel injection in Barkeyville said it won't help much with fuel mileage but in my opinion your fuel can never be too clean. I am going to put the one off my little truck on my big truck within the next year or so when I upgrade the fuel system on the puller. The box works great but I can't say that I am getting better mpg's but the truck runs alot better and the fuel mileage didn't go down, so I guess all is good

They must prove that the damage was caused by the box
