I'll guarantee you that dash cam is gonna be continuously lit up if you come northeast and drive on some of the roads up here. :)

I received a hire from FFE this week, and I'm set to go soon. I agree about doing things their way - I just want to get through the classes smoothly. That said, I'm concerned about whether they have an unusually high attrition rate from training. Could you advise? Thanks

I'm trying to recall my class... I believe they had 34 scheduled and 30 showed up. Lost 3 or 4 the first day on the physical (usually high blood pressure). Out of the remaining 27, we lost 5 or 6 that couldn't pass the permit tests at DPS. I think at 1 time we were down to 24 out of the original 30? But then we picked up the people that had a CDL but were there for the refresher course. Seems like we graduated 25 total, but its been almost a year so I don't recall exactly. Basically people drop at the physical, the permit tests, and the road course part. After you get with a trainer, you have to really screw up to get canned. Just remember to do the homework every night. There will be people there who don't take it seriously and they will get washed out quick. They really want people to graduate, but if it is totally obvious they can't drive, they get a ride back to the bus station.
