Just get boxed mattresses off Amazon; I don’t have any trouble swapping them around.

Thanks for the backup but that does seem a little extreme. They're company owned trucks and company owned loadlocks.

I've been in 2 trucks since going solo. Both were cleaned out well before I hopped in them. When I got my first truck, they sent me over to the parts counter to get a brand new mattress and told me to throw away the one that was in there, they even had a place to throw the discarded mattress. I was only in my 1st truck about a month. Swapped my mattress into my 2nd truck with the rest of my stuff and put the mattress that was in the 2nd truck, into the 1st truck. I've been using that mattress almost 2 years. It still seems fine, so no worries as of yet. I expect when I think I need another new mattress, I'll probably just be able to ask and get one. Swift usually acts like that with that kind of stuff.

Can you repeat this part for all the people out there who are new, or timid, don’t want to cause any problems, are too nice and are worried about someone who sleeps on a 1 owner mattress every single day themselves?

Can you somehow explain to them that just as you wouldn’t accept pre owned and pre stained underwear, a fresh mattress is as important as fresh underwear. Running OTR? New mattress. Period.

Why stop at a new mattress?. Might as well demand a new driver's seat too as that will have been subjected to far more stains and grime from spilled food, drinks and wet farts than any mattress.

Inspect it throughout. Note damages and take pics and make sure they know you did that

Most important. Check sleeper a/c, etc. everything. Make sure it all works before leaving

Buy 2 bottles of fantastic and 4 rolls of paper towels , and a roll of trash bags.
Throw in a bobtail wash at the blue beacon on your dime , to get it dialed in to your liking.
Hopefully it will have a new mattress.
    Good Luck

I hadn’t thought of the pictures, I’ll do that for sure.
    Thanks for the great tip.
