Just glanced at the Schmidt web site, looks very interesting, too bad they will not consider new graduates. Thanks for the reply and info!
Between prime and Schneider my money is on Schneider being better. No first hand experience just a guess.
No problem. Upon first read, I thought it was a tragic misspelling accident. I had to read back a page to understand it myself. It's always the little details that get you.
Prime wants you out 3 weeks between home time, they offer more $$ but I need to get home weekly. I've submitted my application and have spoken briefly with a recruiter, have 2 jobs placed on the table that I will be eligible for as new grad, a dry van and tanker position.
Prime only gives you more money if you're in a eco truck, I'm pretty sure their tankers are driving those too? Just a consideration - for me it wasn't worth it, I'm not interested in living in one of those miniature trucks.
It would be nice to see my Man and loved ones more than once every 3 weeks. He is out 5 days, home late Fridays and back rolling again on Sunday. Like I said in a previous s post, I want to drive and am willing to work hard, but not give up entirely on a home life.
