Thanks for the info ! I am new to the forums. Started orientation for bulk in Houston today. I will be running out of Reserve,LA. Terminal. 1st day of orientation was somewhat unorganized. Was def suprised after hearing about Schneider. I am starting new thread and detailing everything from orientation to out with trainer and when I go solo. Thanks !

I did pws in houston yesterday. I have put on 25 lbs in 3 months. It wasnt bad. You get a couple short breaks during screen. Stay away from caffeine morning of and if you smoke, try not to before screen. I didnt have to climb on tanker. Just a platform mounted on floor. My legs are still sore. I was at home 2 wks b4 screen doing nothing. Good luck and keep me posted

Thanks for the info Tempcajun....... glad to hear you made it through the pws with no problems. I don't smoke and will be sure to lay off the coffee; if and when I get there.

Yeah....I'm not worried doing what is asked strength wise...its just the part I'm worried about getting winded and intern my heart rate getting to high. Just not sure if I want to make the long drive to Houston from st.louis...failing and driving rite back. I know they will fly me down there....but the last thing I want to do is get down there fail and be all stressed out on how to get back home.

Anyways I'm looking forward to following your journey and wish you the best of luck. Be safe.

I know my heart rate got up to 100 and i passed and after looking at some of the guys that made it to orientation i dont think you will have a problem. One guy weighed 300 easy and was prob 5'6". I just recently started having higher than regular blood pressure and when i got to pws my pressure was 190 over 110. They took it again and it was down to 176 over 94 and they let me proceed. Im gonna have to get my pressure checked out.gettin older is a pain ! Lol

Oh wow......I wonder if the la.terminal is maybe a little more lax than the pws in Houston and I dont mean any disrespect by saying that.....its just I've heard that you do have to climb on top the trailer and if you trip you fail etc. One guy that posted on here said that a number of people failed just in his class alone!

I know what you mean about blood pressure and getting older. I'm almost 37 and I guess with my weight gain and out of work my bp got out of shape...went to the doctors got put on sum bp medication and has seemed to work. Felt good about that so that I can pass a dot physical....however now I'm worried about my heart rate. I guess I just need to make a decision get down there and hope for the best!?

I just want to get back to work and start making some money.....oh and get back in shape..lol

    Until next time.

The PWS usually only gets one or two guys in a class. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks ethos for your response....I know I'm prolly worrying to much about it; its just I know how out of shape iam. It sucks because not that long ago i felt fine. I guess that's what I get for sitting on my _ss for to long.

Im pretty certain I could do the job.....I just need to get through orientation .....get working/get the body moving;)
