It shouldn't surprise me that you seem to never have anything but criticism and belittling to offer to a thread, but it does.

I have NO tolerance for that level of stupidity

The truck stops need to do their part in helping to prevent these types of situations. 1st time is a warning? Second time they program the fuel pumps not to dispense fuel to truck numbers who have violated the rule? I don't know. There's got to be something they can do. Fine the company for every incident? We put men into outerspace. Certainly we can come up with a solution to disrespectful drivers. An old fashion ### whooping?

BTW, changing quotes is against the rules here, I'm going to let it slide since your new here, but don't let me see it again.

I think the real solution would be for trucking companies to get involved with this issue. If they notified their drivers to not block fuel islands and make it known their drivers can and should be reported for such activity I think this behavior would be greatly reduced.

Truck stops themselves are often contributing to the problem. Some stops have extremely tight entry into the pumps, with few pumps, and to top it off may require you to get through the pumps to get into the small yard. It's rare for a truck stop to actually have enough employees to police the situation.

That's funny right there. Really it's not that hard to spell the word to vs 2, I'm just sayin..

As far as the original post goes, the one with trip planning issues is the ####### parked in the fuel island. She did exactly what she needed to do in that situation.

On a side note with elogs, you can't edit drive time at all. You can edit the rest.

Instead of starting a new thread on the same subject, I decided to vent here.

Just finished fueling in kearney, mo at the pilot. Trucks were 2-3 deep in the lanes. I pulled in behind a truck that had no one in front of him and no hoses in his tanks, thinking surely he won't be too long. 20 minutes later, the lane opened up beside him, so I backed up and pulled into it. So I'm fueling finally and window washing and the driver comes out finally. I decide it's not worth it and keep my mouth shut... Until he starts fueling!

So then I pop off, I'm glad I quit waiting on you and moved over. His response? I'm sorry my friend, I was taking a shower... Ok now it's taking everything thing I have not to punch him in the face, but after explaining to him what an inconsiderate ### he was, ok maybe it got a bit more colorful, and perhaps I was in a highly agitated state... But his final words were...

I'm sorry my friend, I won't do it again..
