I got snowed in Rochester, NY for 3 days in a major blizzard. When they finally got the roads cleared enough my company DHed me back to Belvidere, IL to cover a load. They even let me run the toll roads. :)

I was cussing running in the snow empty until I seen a bobtail coming out too. I didn't feel so bad then. :)

I think it was around 670 miles.

Ya know, reading these I don't feel too terrible about my dh experiences. Still new at this so I'm trying to stay positive.

I had to laugh a little, because I have been there too. Miami has lots of freight to be delivered to there, but nothing for hundreds of miles to get reloaded with. Not unless you want to haul it for free.

When I was running my big trl. My DH was about 50%
Now I'm running a smaller setup and will still bounce, if the money is right..
Bounced 600 miles 4 weeks ago for a ld. that paid me 7.50 a mile, plus 500 for DH.

Ts official nothing is ever going to surprise me again:biggrin_2559:

Bob tailed 1300 miles home when I brought my truck back home. In the winter and the snow storm in the smokeys...stupidest thing I have ever done but man it was fun saying hold my beer and watch this on the radio every time I hit ice while everybody else said oh ####:biggrin_255:
