1. Jubitz, Portland, OR (everything, like Disney world for truckers) 2. Boise Stage Stop, Idaho (Parking, food, hospitality) 3. Little America, Wyoming. (first class service) 4. Flying J, Barstow,CA (There's an In-N-Out and Chipotle across the street) 5. Oasis, I-44, Missouri (awesome place, awesome people) 6. My House, Coeur d'Alene, ID. Honorable mentions: Town Pump, Montana. Most of them are great, parking, always have decent food and really cool stuff in their stores that you may not be able to find. Plus Town Pump always treats ya right. Dhillon's, San Jon, NM. Always parking. The place is a GIGANTIC dump. BUT..... Authentic Indian food and the people running the place are always pleasant and helpful. Pilot, St George, UT. Only for the view, it's nestled in next to a mountain. Gordy's Truck Stop, La Pine, OR US97. Huge clean lot with restaurant it's on my list because I usually forget its there and always a welcome sight!
I remember the first time I stopped there. It was snowing so hard I could hardly see the sign. It sure was a nice place to wait out a big snow storm! I always stop when I am in the area.
All my former favorites, independents, are now under the major chain banners and I don't consider that an improvement.
