I considered parking here too, but went with Lowes instead.

I only used it once to park at a truck stop north of Knoxville on I- 75. I had to download and use it immediately in order to get a space. It wasn't hard. I think it was ten bucks to park.

In the major cities I actually prefer parking on the street in the warehouse districts. No homeless, well landscaped, and clean. Ill look on satellite view on google maps for giant warehouses and see if trucks are parked on the road. Then I will check streetview to make sure there aren't any no parking signs.

Sam’s Club and Costco are usually good. I’ve paid to get a reserved spot at Pilot/Flying J, but you need to call and set that up earlier in the day.

At the risk of sounding like an ##$, when you roll out in the morning, you should know, primary, secondary, and last resort.

I only say that as a learning tool. I never left in the morning without knowing where I was going to stop that night.

As a rule I never enter a large city at the end of my day. Find parking outside of town, get up early, go in, deliver, get out.

Sooo, I just checked out rig park on the App Store. After the first five one star comments, I stopped reading. Here’s my tip: I like to double check my drop location on google earth. I’ll look around around the area to check if it’s an industrial zone. Then I look for a cul-de-sac, and dead end streets, that have rigs parked in them. then I zoom in to see if there is any no parking signs. This has worked, and also bit me in the ask.

I live in Concord NC close to Charlotte. I had been parking at Walmart for years. I come back to the truck after my reset and it not there.
Turns out the towing company just purchased the lease to the parking lot.
3600 dollars later,I got my truck back
