Well, last time I turned it off in the house and pulled the fuse at the unit. I discharged the old run capacitor and shouldn’t have had any issue. However, I hooked that two wire hard start up at one point which must have renenergized it enough to pop me.

Looks like not getting electrocuted has its benefits. Ribeyes on the flat iron skillet.

All I want is something dependable to go out on the desert, kill coyotes, and make it home without having to walk — oh , and a heater that works

Oh I like a good Qjet, but unless your gonna spent the time and money to rebuild one right, I would replace with new for a daily driver/work truck.

Did you know the late model qjet that was computer controlled that most thru away was a Detroit Diesel program.

Had a A- Hole Forman at a slaughter house I worked at in highschool that thought it was funny to get you in the calf when you were climbing a fence.

    I got the last laugh.

Wondering if any of you folks who've built your engines could give a guy a ballpark figure on what's a reasonable price to pay to get a 15L sized block hot tanked, decked, align bored and the crank/cam polished up?
