No, your doing the right thing. Plus you are employee.

Now what I would do is not the right thing. But if they are paying tickets, I'd hook it in gear and avoid scales. Or wait till about 5pm and get rolling.

5k over gross would not be a concern of mine. Especially on a weekend.

I'm not positive were your at or were your gonning I know GA-KY.

So your legal to the TN state line. At least get that far. Now I don't run down that far anymore. But a Sat night on a holiday weekend, I highly doubt you will see anybody in TN. All you have to do is get to KY state line and your legal again. If I understand your situation correctly.

Get on truckerpath and see if any scales are open.

But this is me, and you have to make your own decision. Its your life, not mine. Either choice is correct.

Picture it if you will... sunset at the Tennessee line. Waylon on the fm, cb tuned in on 19... rf up and squelch down. Coffee cup full, chrome blingin, tire shine slingin. Time to do it to it like Pruett used to do it.

Of course, this is just fan fiction. Id, um, never break the law or encourage anyone else to. Nope. Legal beagle here. Gee thats a nice prostar you drive... ;):D:cool:

Edit: almost forgot... 'Whats that Tennessee coop doin, eastbound?'

Sittin at rochelle this morn. And a Halvor lines truck drives by me ever so slow and as close as he can get. I was waiting for the crunch ! Afterwards I keyed the mic and said "cutting it close". Mr. Steering wheel holder replied how he has done this long enough to be able to get as close as a fraction of an inch if need be. ....now this parking lot is a ghost town so where is the need ? I let it go. Little later im inside waiting to purchase a few things and here is know it all waiting in line . .....now with all this six foot space and mask thing going on, here's steering wheel holder standing right smack dab behind me. No mask and in my so-called personal space. I turned and said I see you pay attention to social distancing like you drive, BACK THE EFF OFF ! he looked like he wanted to say sumpthing but he didn't. so now I'm gonna be in a mood all day !....I ever say how much I hate everyone ??!!
