    :) Thank you both, gentlemen...
It was a much better day today... decided to use my "higher power", went above and beyond the people I thought I depended on and reached the ones that could really do something... and it worked out!
I keep moving forward... at slug pace but still moving.. everything will be ok...
Happy Birthaday Mr. @cke !

Got er unloaded and drug to the barn. Tried to scale it at the elevator but couldn’t get a consistent weight because I can’t fit on all in one shot. 82D88E5E-A146-4D59-B81D-9DB6F934B364.jpeg 61F26BFE-AEAD-46A3-8EA2-4EB3B94CA79E.jpeg I had to make a temporary mount for the airlines till I get everything measured out. New king pin is 36 compatible to the 18 on the old one. 3A1E2DA6-8259-4FD3-8CAA-19FEAE136600.jpeg But after careful review and some calculated assumptions I’m of %98 belief @cke got the better value on trailers this week?
Good score there buddy and happy birthday!!!

So the hot water saga continues.

What I believe to be a coolant temp sensor is on the left. 2 wires. I'm assuming one was for the gauge and the other for the ecm because those are the only 2 wires up here. On the right is the sender for the mechanical gauge that was put in the dash. Traced the cable/tube for it back to the gauge.

Now these 2 sensors (one in the head and the one below the block heater connector) I'm not sure what they are for. One may be oil pressure or both could be oil pressure. But neither are oil temp because apparently oil temp is figured by the ecm based on water, ambient, and intake temps.

Once it cools off I reckon I'll take em out and see what's behind em.

I know I've got a bolt gone in the manifold. It doesn't leak and it's broke in the head. One day when I have tons of fun money I'll throw a different manifold on it and deal with the bolt then.

Before you pull the sensor put a wet/dry vacuum hose in the rad and try to keep a 12" or more loop above the rad. This will cause a negative air pressure to keep the coolant in the engine with the sensor out.

To add one wire on the 2 wire sensor when removed causes the fan to engage like I flipped the switch.

Current temp per the gauge is 180. If its seeing high resistance that I suppose could make it think the temp is high and therefore engaging the fan. Maybe the sending unit is bad and is telling the ecm the temps are cool.

    Hadn't ever thought of that.

If I wasn't going to flush and refill while checking the sensors I'd give it a shot. But since I'm draining anyway it won't be necessary.

    But thanks for the tip

Well they decided to put more restrictions on us again. That rafter in the garage looks more appealing every day.
